Customer Service Account Manager

Classic Folios is the UK’s leading supplier of homeowner’s manuals to the residential property market.  We’re proud of our exceptional client retention rate and work tirelessly to achieve customer satisfaction.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is already very successful at binding relationships, and to really make the role your own!

The Role

You’ll manage the relationship with our clients ensuring they receive a first-class service with an eye to reaping additional revenues.  Although the role is largely office based, after full training you’ll occasionally travel to clients to carry out meetings and training sessions.  Day-to-day you’ll carry out administrative tasks; reacting to emails and telephone requests, ensuring purchase orders are in place and arranging and resolving operational issues.  Working closely with the Editorial, Production and Assembly departments, you’ll co-ordinate the dispatch of orders.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships by regular phone and occasional face to face contact
  • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer demands and objectives
  • Investigating and resolving all queries in a professional manner in collaboration with other team members
  • Taking full ownership of your clients and championing their needs internally
  • Identifying additional needs and cross selling or up-selling opportunities

Key Requirements

  • To be considered for the role you will need to have a minimum of a years experience in a customer facing environment,
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills, effective at all levels of the customer organisation.  There will be outbound calls to existing customers following up on requests and clarifying arrangements
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and be well organised while paying strict attention to detail and accuracy
  • Work well under pressure
  • Analytical and creative thinking to provide solutions to problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoy a challenge and working in a fast-paced team environment
  • Confident and can hold your own with clients and colleagues
