Introduction
Welcome to the Classic Folios data processing policy.
At Classic Folios, we are committed to protecting and respecting the data that we process on behalf of our clients and complying with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Looking after the personal information that you share with us is very important, and we want you to be confident that the personal data is kept safely and securely and used only for the purposes set out in this policy.
This policy aims to give you information on how we will process the personal data that you supply to us when you use our product and services.
Classic Folios is a joint data controller with our clients and in order for Classic Folios to provide our services, our clients will disclose personal information about their customers and the parties will each process the data as data controllers.
Both Classic Folios and the client will have an obligation to process the data in accordance with the GDPR requirements.
The client acknowledges that, under GDPR, it has an obligation to ensure that personal data is:
- Relevant and limited to what is required for Classic Folios to carry out its services
- Accurate and kept up-to-date
- Retained only for the time relevant to complete the services provided.

We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the ICO, so please contact us in the first instance.
We process data on your behalf when we enter into a contract with you to supply our products or services to your customer.

· Contact Data - address, email address and telephone numbers.
All data is stored securely within password protected files and within our database, both of which are based in the EEA (European Economic Area).
When personal data is supplied to us to process, this data will never be used other than for the purpose intended, to supply our goods and services.
From time to time, we may need to supply data to third parties to provide a service ion our behalf, such as translations. If we should need to use a third party, we will not do so without your consent.
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process the personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
