The Government announced the suspension of Home Information Packs, with immediate effect, from 21 May 2010.

However, if you are selling a property, you are still required by law to order or commission an Energy Performance Certificate before you can market the property. It should be provided to potential buyers at the earliest opportunity and before entering into a contract to sell the property.
